Or, place this rim above ground and surround the edges with bricks or stones for a DIY fire pit that is sure to complement any existing aesthetic. Once finished, place the wood inside the rim and light the fire. Either option gives the look of an appealing homemade fire pit. Each insert frame kit contains assembly hardware making it easy to put the fire pit put together in no time. The 2.2 mm thick steel rim pieces with high-temperature paint finish help maintain the integrity of the fire pit ring for years.
